Guardian Project


Abstract

Guardian was a student software project carried out in the Department of Mathematical Information Technology in the University of Jyväskylä during autumn 2002. The project implemented a software for testing and monitoring a peer-to-peer network called Chedar. The tool enables to remotely control and monitor each Chedar client and the whole network in a centralized way. It is also able to show the topology of the network and to draw graphs out of monitoring data.
